About

Twenty six hectares of public gardens at Urangan with a Bush Chapel set aside for ceremonies. Free entry, bookings through Fraser Coast Regional Council.

The Botanic Gardens cover 26 hectares at Urangan and are open daily from 6am to 7pm with free entry. The Bush Chapel is the designated ceremony area and is a popular choice for couples keeping the ceremony simple and the spend on the reception.

The rest of the gardens are worth walking for photos. There is a Chinese inspired garden with a moon gate, an Australian bush tucker garden, a lagoon with viewing platforms, and an Orchid House with around 5,500 orchids open weekdays.

This is a ceremony location only. There are no reception facilities or catering on site, so you will need a separate venue for the rest of the day. Bookings go through Fraser Coast Regional Council customer service.
